Abstract
The utilization of 3D printing technologies in orthodontics is expanding on a daily
basis. While much has been written about the technology, the costs and involvement
to setup and implementation in the office has not had as much exposure. This article
is intended to compare the costs of various printer setups and the associated degree
of difficulty of assembly, setup, calibration, and maintenance of the machine in an
orthodontic office.
