Indirect Bonding: A Comprehensive Review of the Literature

Indirect bonding when described in the strictest sense, is a technique in which orthodontic brackets or other attachments are transferred from dental casts (otherwise described as working models) and bonded onto the dentition using a transfer device. This article will present a review of the literature, and a discussion of pertinent issues relative to the development and utilization of indirect bonding.
